Refunds & cancellations
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This policy explains how to cancel a Devigo subscription and when you can get your money back. It forms part of our terms of service. If you're a consumer, it's in addition to your rights under UK consumer law, never instead of them.
Trying Devigo first
Building a site in Devigo is free, so you can see exactly what you're getting before you pay anything. You only pay when you publish.
Cancelling
You can cancel any plan, site slot or support subscription at any time from Billing in your dashboard. There's no notice period and no cancellation fee. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then won't renew. When it ends, the sites it covers are taken offline, but stay in your account as drafts so you can publish them again later. If you close your account entirely, we keep your content for 30 days and then delete it.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly payments aren't refunded once the month has started, including the reduced first month of a site slot. Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again.
Yearly subscriptions
If you change your mind within 14 days of buying a yearly subscription, we'll refund it in full. The same applies if you forget to cancel before it renews: tell us within 14 days of the renewal date and we'll refund that payment. After 14 days, a yearly subscription isn't refundable, but you can cancel so that it doesn't renew.
Upgrading and downgrading
When you upgrade, you get the new features straight away and pay only the difference for the rest of your billing period. When you downgrade, the change takes effect from your next billing date, and you keep your current plan until then.
Your rights as a consumer
If you're buying as a consumer rather than for business, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Because you ask us to start the service straight away, if you cancel in that time we'll refund what you've paid less a fair amount for the time the service was running. We'll always refund at least that much, and often more, under the policy above.
When something goes wrong
If Devigo doesn't work as it should and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, or we're down for an extended period through our own fault, contact us. We'll put things right, which may mean a refund or a credit for the time affected. If we remove a feature you're paying for, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of your period.
Payments to your own shop
Payments your customers make through your Devigo shop or bookings go directly to your own Stripe account. Refunds for those are handled by you, as the seller, from your dashboard or Stripe; Devigo can't issue them.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@devigo.co.uk from the address on your account, with the payment you'd like refunded. We'll reply within two working days. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually arrive within 5 to 10 working days.
If we end your account
If we close your account for a serious breach of our terms, such as fraud or abuse, payments already made aren't refunded. If we close it for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've paid for.
