Terms of service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Devigo Digital Limited ("Devigo", "we", "us") for using Devigo Studio: the dashboard at app.devigo.studio, the websites we build and host for you, our API, CLI, SDK and MCP server, and any support we give (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that business.
Devigo Digital Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16571975), registered office C/O The Accountancy Partnership, Suite 5, 5th Floor, City Reach, 5 Greenwich View Place, London, E14 9NN. You can reach us at support@devigo.co.uk.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 to open an account. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You're responsible for everything done under your account, including by teammates and clients you invite, so keep your login safe, turn on two-factor authentication, and tell us straight away if you think someone has got in without permission.
2. Plans and sites
Building a site is free. You pay to publish: through a plan (Hobbyist, Freelancer or Agency), or by adding a site slot to your account, with or without human support. Each plan's features and limits are shown in your dashboard and on our pricing pages when you sign up. We may cap the number of unpublished sites an account can have, because each one is written by AI at our cost.
3. Fees and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown before you pay. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Introductory offers, such as a reduced first month on a site slot, apply once per account. If a payment fails we'll try again and let you know; if it still hasn't been paid after 14 days we may unpublish the sites it covers until it is. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it takes effect from your next renewal after that. Cancellations and refunds are covered in our refunds & cancellations policy.
4. Your content
You own everything you put into the Service: text, images, products, form submissions and the like ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you. You're responsible for having the rights to Your Content and for it being lawful. Where Your Content includes personal data about other people, such as your site's visitors or customers, our data processing agreement applies and forms part of these terms.
5. AI features
Devigo uses AI models, from providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI, to write sites, suggest copy and act on your instructions. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to content made for others, so check it before you publish. You own the output generated for you, as far as the law allows. If you connect your own AI key, your use of that provider is also governed by your agreement with them. We don't use Your Content to train AI models, and we don't let our providers do so.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law, or help anyone else to;
- publish anything that infringes someone else's rights, or that is defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or otherwise harmful;
- send spam, phish, or distribute malware;
- sell goods or services that are illegal, or that Stripe or our other providers prohibit;
- probe, scan or overload our systems, get around usage limits, or access other people's accounts or data;
- resell the Service other than through the agency features we provide for that purpose.
We can remove content, unpublish sites or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to put it right.
7. Agencies and client sites
If you build sites for clients, you're responsible to us for those sites and for your clients' use of the Service under your account. When you transfer a site to a client's own Devigo account, it moves to their account, and their agreement with us, from the moment they accept it. White-labelling changes how the dashboard looks to your clients; it doesn't change who we are or these terms.
8. Domains, integrations and third parties
Custom domains stay registered with whoever you bought them from; you're responsible for their renewal and DNS. Apps from the marketplace, and services you connect such as Stripe, Calendly or GitHub, are provided by third parties under their own terms. Payments your customers make through your shop or bookings go directly to your own Stripe account: you are the seller, and refunds, tax and customer service for those sales are yours.
9. Our service
We'll provide the Service with reasonable skill and care, and work to keep it available, secure and backed up. We'll sometimes need to take it down for maintenance, which we'll keep short and, where we can, schedule out of UK business hours. We improve Devigo all the time; if we remove a feature you rely on in a way that substantially reduces what you're paying for, we'll give you notice and you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of any period you've paid for.
10. Our intellectual property
Devigo Studio, our templates, components, code, brand and documentation belong to us or our licensors. While you're subscribed we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them to build and run your sites. Templates and components stay licensed for the sites you build with them. You can send us feedback and we may use it freely.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. If you're a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.
If you're using the Service for business, we aren't liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and £100. You should keep your own copies of anything important.
12. Ending this agreement
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, and you can delete your account at any time. We can end this agreement or suspend your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, don't pay, or if the law requires it; otherwise we'll give you at least 30 days' notice. When your account ends, your published sites are taken offline. You can export your content beforehand, and we keep it for 30 days afterwards in case you change your mind, then delete it, apart from what we must keep by law, such as invoices.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree with it, you can cancel before then.
14. General
Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. You can't transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it to a business that takes over the Service, and we'll tell you if we do. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, with the documents they mention, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. Nobody else has rights under them.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
